WHITE DOG GAMES
The Adventure of Board Game Development

Israel 1948 is a two-player game simulating the 1948 Arab League invasion of the newly formed state of Israel. One player takes the Israeli side and the other player takes the Arab League side.
There are 3 scenarios which cover the 3 periods of fighting, and there are special campaign rules to link 2 or all 3 scenarios together into a longer campaign game.
Scenario 1 "Onslaught": Covers the invasion of the new state of Israel after the British withdrawal from 15th May 1948 to the first truce of 11th June 1948.
Scenario 2 "Ten Days": Covers the Israeli counter-offensive from 9th to 18th July when there was the second truce.
Scenario 3: "End Game": Covers the fighting from October 1948 after the end of the second truce.
The game is designed for players who want to be able to learn, set up, and play a game to completion within a couple of hours. The units are mostly brigades - about 20 on the Israeli side and 30 on the Arab side.

You can also select PnP for a "print-and-play" game where the game files are sent by email and printed by the customer. A canvas game map can also be selected. When selected, it is shipped in the game box and is in addition to the paper game map. A canvas map can be rolled and folded and is not torn or worn with use.
